| Benalla Support Group for Children with Special Needs | | This group provides information, referral, support and advocacy to families of children with special needs from birth to 21 years of age. 'My Time' provides facilitated peer support for mums, dads, grandparents and anyone caring for children with a disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition. Socialise and share ideas and information with others who understand the rewards and intensity of caring for a child with special needs. Children are cared for by a qualified carer in a fun, relaxed , safe environment. A monthly Newsletter is also available.

Carers and Parents Support Group Inc
The Carers and Parents Support Group (CPSG) provides information, support, referral and advocacy services to carers, parents and families of adults (18+years) with an intellectual disability and/or dual disability.
An informative bi-monthly newsletter 'Carers Supporting Carers' is distributed to members and carers via email or post.
CPSG holds monthly meetings on the 1st Monday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Gliding Club of Victoria Building, 37 Samaria Road, Benalla, and carers are welcome to bring a plate and join us for lunch and a chat.
CPSG is run by a volunteer carer Committee of Management providing carer educational workshops ie Wills, Estates, Legal, Centrelink, Human rights, Managing Carer Stress including pamper days and bus trips to Bright or Melbourne stage shows. CPSG is part of a state Parent Support Group network, while working closely with other similar organisations ie CarerVic, EACH etc.
