| Australia Day Awards are presented annually for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year. The awards are presented to citizens who have made outstanding contributions to the community and a person or group who has staged the most outstanding and inclusive community event during the year.
Australia Day Awards are presented in the following categories:
• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Event of the Year
• Achievement Awards
Nomination Forms and Guidelines are available from Benalla Civic Centre in Fawckner Drive, the Benalla Library and at various Council communication stands throughout the Rural City or they can be downloaded from the links below.
