Proposed changes to Denny Street carpark

Disabled Access Parking Bay

The Council’s CBD Parking Working Group has received requests to install a new loading zone parking bay in the Denny Street carpark.

To accommodate this request, we are proposing to move one of the five existing disabled parking bays from its current position on the western side of the public toilet block to the front row of the eastern end of the car park. This space provides a link to the walkway to Carrier Street.

At the Planning and Development Committee meeting held on 31 January 2018, the Council resolved to seek community input on the proposed parking changes to the Denny Street carpark. All feedback is welcome, so please share this with those who you feel may be impacted by the change.

You can have your say on the proposed parking changes to the Denny Street carpark by contacting us by mail or email, or by filling in the form below.

Comments are welcome until Friday 23 March 2018. If you'd like to speak to the Council on this matter, members of the public are welcome to speak at the Council Meeting on Wednesday 4 April 2018.
