| What is a Community House? |
 | A warm and friendly place created by a variety of personalities and interests humming within. | | A place where people come together to meet other people, and share or gain skills and knowledge. | | A place where you can come to know and belong to your community. | | The main role of Waminda's staff is to assess community needs and then address. | | |
| Who Runs Them? | | Houses usually have a Co-ordinator. The organisation is managed by an independent Committee of Management.
They rely on the ideas, efforts and support of a great many people (mostly volunteers) - so users are encouraged to participate in the running of the centre and to become involved in a variety of projects - or in the management areas.
