What is a Community House?
A place where people come together to meet other people, and share or gain skills and knowledge.
A place where you can come to know and belong to your community.
The main role of Waminda's staff is to assess, identify and address community needs.

Houses have a Co-ordinator. The organisation is managed by an independent Committee of Management. They rely on the ideas, efforts and support of a great many people (mostly volunteers). Users are encouraged to participate in the running of the Community House and to become involved in a variety of projects.
