Benalla Visitor Information Centre’s 24 volunteers showed off their new uniforms this month which match the style of Benalla Rural City’s new tourism website, www.enjoybenalla.com.au.
The new website, uniforms and printed collateral represent a concerted push by the Council in partnership with local operators to sell the many local attractions and events on offer.
“There is so much to enjoy in Benalla Rural City, from the Winton Wetlands, one of the biggest wetlands projects in the Southern Hemisphere, the Benalla Art Gallery and Winton Motor Raceway,” said Jeanie Hall, Manager Economic Development and Tourism.
“Our Visitor Information Centre, staffed by around 25 volunteers and the Visitor Information Centre Coordinator Lindsay Thomas, already services more than 30,000 visitors a year, and the new website www.enjoybenalla.com.au will help us reach many more,” she said.
