The Benalla Art Gallery is presenting a free advice day on Saturday 9 July for people who want to know how to care for their personal art collection, photographs, heritage objects or family heirlooms.

The day will feature conservation specialists who will offer professional advice and practical tips on preserving treasured possessions.

“Our conservators will examine, assess and propose different ways that you can best look after your art, objects and memorabilia,” said Gallery Director Bryony Nainby.

“Objects you can bring for assessment include paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, books, sculpture, decorative arts, medals, dolls, jewellery, textiles and much more,” she said.

Saturday 9 July, 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm

Register your interest with the Gallery on 03 5760 2619
