Council’s Community Support Program encourages clubs, community groups and not-for-profit organisations to seek funding to enhance their capacity to work in partnership with Council and others to address local needs and develop and enhance the Benalla Rural City community.

The program consists of the annual Community Grants Program which provides an opportunity for community groups and not-for-profit organisations to seek funding of up to $2,500.

The monthly Community Sponsorship Program distributes grants of up to $500 in cash or in-kind assistance when unexpected expenses are incurred or only a small amount of assistance is required.
