| Benalla Town Hall | | The Benalla Town Hall is located in Nunn Street.
Refurbishments to the Benalla Town Hall includes heating and cooling, floor restoration, painting, and the contribution of furniture supplied from the Parliament of Victoria and the gift from Philip Bacon of “Bacchantes” a painting by Julian Rossi Ashton. All these refurbishments have contributed to a wonderful transformation which have greatly enhanced the Town Hall.
The Auditorium section of the Town Hall can seat approximately 400 people and can be utilised for a variety of events. The acoustics are very good within the hall and lighting and a sound system are available for use.
Upstairs of the Town Hall boasts a great viewing balcony seating up to approximately 120 people. A welcoming meeting room furnished with beautiful and historic furniture from the Parliament of Victoria houses the beautiful painting by Julian Rossi . This also would be a great venue for a cocktail reception where guests can utilise the balcony overlooking Nunn Street.
Hire fees for the Town Hall are very reasonable and Council encourages the community to consider the Town Hall as a suitable venue for an event they may be planning whether it be private or community orientated.
The Town Hall Auditorium is currently used for a varied range of community activities including;

Rock and Roll Dances
Freeza Youth Events
Weddings
Formal balls
Presentations
Conferences
Award Ceremonies
The Benalla Town Hall has four meeting rooms available for hire:
