Peter has been a resident of Benalla for the past 20 years, working as a solicitor and commencing his own business in 2000. He and his wife Jenny have three children and enjoy a rural lifestyle where Peter is the Captain of the Warrenbayne Rural Fire Brigade. Peter, as a Law Institute of Victoria representative, is also a member of the Firearms Consultative Committee to the Minister for Police.
Peter represents Council on the following committees:
