| Request to speak at Committee Meeting
An opportunity is available for members of the public to address Councillors at meetings of the:
Finance & Operations Committee, and the
Planning & Development Committee.
A person wishing to speak at either of these Committee Meetings shall be granted a period of three minutes to address the Meeting on an item listed on the agenda.
Requests are to be forwarded on the appropriate form and should be received at the Civic Centre, Fawckner Drive Benalla by 10am on the day of the Committee Meeting.

Request to ask Council a Question
At every Ordinary Meeting of Council, up to 15 minutes is allowed for members of the public to ask questions of Council.
Questions are limited to two per member of the public.
No debate or discussion of questions or answers is permitted by either a questioner or a member of Council.
The Chairman may nominate a Council Officer to answer the question or elect to answer the question him/her self.
The Chairman may take a question on notice in which case a written answer to the question will be provided.
Questions should be submitted on the appropriate form which may be downloaded from the link below.
