The Australia Day 2021 program of celebrations and events includes flag raising ceremonies, Australia Day award presentations and entertainment in Benalla and our rural townships.

Registration for free tickets before the event is required. Online tickets can be obtained through www.eventbrite.com.au

If you do not have access to register online contact the Visitor Information Centre on 5762 1749. If the event is not sold out online prior, then tickets will be available at the gate.

Bring a chair and/or picnic rug.

COVIDSafe guidelines will be in place. Attendees will need to check-in on arrival and observe hygiene and social distancing measures.

  

Benalla Botanical Gardens
Music and entertainment at the Rotunda

5pm-6pm:     Young, local musicians brought to you by FReeZA - including Oblivion and Mason & Justin

6pm – 8pm:  Benalla’s own musical talent and visual performers - including In the Groove West African Rhythm, Benalla Theatre Company Choir, The Mocking Birds Flute and Guitar Duet, Adam Toms & Ryan Black Acoustic Rock, Couchgrass Bushdance

Travelling musicians
A group of talented artists and musicians will travel to local aged care facilities, entertaining staff and residents with live songs and performance.

Celebrate Australia Day and visit our rural township hotels at Devenish, Goorambat, Tatong and Thoona.
