Take advantage of this valuable opportunity to be trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid and learn skills and gain confidence to assist young people experiencing mental health problems.
This program is part of our Live4Life Suicide Prevention Program.
Mental illnesses often start in early adulthood. It's important to detect problems early to ensure young people are properly treated and supported. This mental health first aid course teaches adults how to assist adolescents who may be developing a mental health issue, experiencing mental health problems or who are in a mental health crisis.
The cost for this comprehensive 14 hour course is usually $350. All you will need to pay is $20 to cover the cost of the manual.
