June Howard - 2021 Benalla Rural City Citizen of the Year
June Howard is an exceptional, inspirational and much admired community leader.
June has assisted to achieve a number of significant achievements for the Devenish and wider community.
June is extremely generous with her volunteer time, skills and business talents and is an amazing example of leadership within her community... the ‘go to person’ for her community and the wider Benalla Rural City.

- Devenish Cemetery Trust
- President of the - For the Good of Devenish
- Devenish Public Hall Committee of Management
- Devenish Primary School
- Aged Friendly Group – Benalla
- Treasurer and Acting Secretary of the Devenish Silo Art Committee
- President of the North East Art Trail Group
- Devenish Uniting Church
- Instrumental in getting the Craft Group up and running in Devenish
