Lia Greenhalgh - 2021 Young Citizen of the Year

Lia completed her Year 12 studies in 2020 at FCJ College.

Lia is an exceptional high achieving young person both academically and through her volunteer work with the community.

Lia is a passionate, caring and hard working person and has been an inspirational leader of the entire FCJ College community during 2020.

As school captain Lia has demonstrated outstanding leadership going above and beyond was is required of the role.

With the difficulties faced in 2020 with remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic Lia came up with numerous ingenious and interactive ways to keep the student body interconnected and engaged with their school and their community.

At the same time as undertaking this Lia has maintained consistently excellent academic results. Lia also managed to engage in a number of school and community fundraisers during 2020. Her energy and time commitments to various community projects while juggling Year 12 is to be commended.

Congratulations Lia our 2021 Young Citizen of the Year.
