The Benalla and District Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG) has joined forces with Tomorrow Today Foundation to host the Benalla Community Expo Come and Try Day on Sunday 11 October 2026. The free event brings together more than 40 local clubs, services and community groups in one place. Visitors can enjoy free coffee, food, prizes and activities.
The Community Expo Come and Try Day is a chance for people of all ages to discover what’s on offer in Benalla. Locals can try a new sport, join a club, find a support service or meet the volunteers who keep our community going. The community event is supported by Benalla Rural City Council, through the SIAG program and Tomorrow Today Foundation.
The event is being held on Sunday 11 October from 10am to 2pm at the Benalla Indoor Recreation Centre and Benalla United Friendly Society Sports Reserve, Ackerly Avenue, Benalla
Every stall will have a free activity, so visitors can try a new hobby or sport before they sign up. Residents young and old can find social groups while connecting with support services, sporting clubs and learner driver programs.
New residents are especially welcome. The expo is an easy way to meet people, make friends and feel at home in Benalla.
