Agriculture Victoria: From feed test to feed budget

Agriculture Victoria is inviting livestock farmers to a webinar on feed testing and developing a feed budget. Register and receive a free feed test.

Agriculture Victoria Livestock Extension Officer Nick Linden will discuss matching livestock requirements and feed quality. Nick brings extensive expertise in feed management and will offer valuable guidance for farmers feeding and managing livestock.

Livestock Extension Officer Chris Blore will also talk about the current drought support available.

TOPICS

  • How to take a feed test
  • Interpreting results – know what you have and what can you do with it?
  • Feeding livestock scenarios, how long will feed last & what do I supplement?
  • Drought resources and support available.

Agriculture Victoria are offering one free feed test per farmer to help you make the most of the event. A limited number of tests are available so you must register for the webinar to be eligible to receive a free feed test.

The webinar will be recorded for those that can’t make it on the day. However, we encourage you to attend as there will be a Q&A session.
