This hands‑on course will guide you through the essentials of coffee‑making and safe food handling. It’s ideal for anyone looking to start work in hospitality, aged care food services or café kitchen roles.
Join our free 3-day barista course to master coffee-making and food safety practices:
- 9am–4pm, Monday 31 August
- 9am–4pm, Tuesday 1 September
- 9am–4pm, Friday 4 September
Participants in this free training will complete two nationally recognised units: SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee and SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety, giving them practical skills that are valued across the hospitality and care sectors. These qualifications support entry into roles such as barista, café kitchen staff and Food Services Assistant in aged care, helping community members build confidence and take the next step towards local employment.
