Free Green Waste Weekend is back!
Mark your calendars for Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October 2025, from midday to 3.45pm, for our Free Green Waste Weekend at the Benalla Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre.
Residents and ratepayers can bring one load of green waste, up to 300kg, for FREE disposal!
Benalla Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre, 96 Old Farnley Road, Benalla.
Accepted items include:
- Lawn clippings
- Branches
- Garden prunings
- Raw timber offcuts (no machined timber)
Important reminder:
Stumps must be under 40cm in diameter and 1m in length.
