National Simultaneous Storytime at Benalla Library

Join us at the Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre (Benalla Library) for National Simultaneous Storytime at midday on Wednesday 27 May 2026.

At the same moment across Australia and beyond, millions of children, families, teachers and library lovers will read Luna Roo together — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection.

This year’s book, Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller, is a fun and uplifting story about teamwork, determination and trying new things. National Simultaneous Storytime is coordinated by the Australian Library and Information Association and encourages a love of books by bringing people together to share the same story.

Benalla Library will host a group reading of Luna Roo for children, families and community members. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy this special midday storytime.
