Benalla Rural City Council, in partnership with the Benalla Business Network and the Benalla Art Gallery Foundation is inviting local businesses, tourism operators and community leaders to a Business After Hours: “Growing the Benalla Economy through the Arts” – an engaging panel event examining how cultural investment can strengthen regional economies.

The session will unpack the measurable economic and community impacts of the 2021 redevelopment of the Shepparton Art Museum (SAM), offering timely insights as the Benalla Art Gallery progresses its own major upgrade.

Attendees will hear from a panel of respected leaders in regional cultural development:

Her work highlights the critical role of arts and cultural investment in attracting talent and supporting thriving local economies.
