Have Your Say at the Destination Management Plan Feedback Session

01 May 2025

Benalla Rural City Council is inviting community members to take part in a special feedback session for the draft Destination Management Plan.

The draft Destination Management Plan has been developed in collaboration with TRC Tourism to guide the growth and sustainability of Benalla Rural City’s vibrant tourism sector. Tourism contributes $48 million annually to the local economy and draws approximately 350,000 visitors each year to enjoy attractions like the Benalla Art Gallery, Winton Wetlands, and the region’s renowned Street and Silo art.

Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn is encouraging residents, businesses, and visitors to attend the feedback session and share their perspectives.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the community to come together and contribute to Benalla Rural City’s tourism future. Your input is invaluable in shaping a plan that truly reflects our unique strengths while addressing opportunities for sustainable growth. I encourage everyone to attend and have their say,” Cr Hearn said.

Event details:
