With renowned attractions such as the Benalla Art Gallery, Winton Motor Raceway, and the stunning Winton Wetlands, Benalla is a dynamic destination with immense potential.

Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn is calling on the community to review the draft plan and share their thoughts.

We encourage everyone in the community to have their say and help shape this important plan,” Cr Hearn said.

The plan aims to highlight Benalla Rural City’s unique assets while identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance the visitor experience. By focusing on sustainable tourism practices, the plan seeks to support local businesses, attract investment, and ensure Benalla Rural City remains a vibrant destination.

Community members are invited to provide their feedback on the draft plan until Thursday, 15 May 2025. Your input is crucial to ensuring the plan reflects the aspirations of the community and meets the needs of the tourism sector.
