We are seeking an experienced GIS Coordinator who is technically capable, detail-focused and able to work collaboratively across the organisation.

The GIS Coordinator will manage and maintain Council’s Geographic Information System, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effective use of spatial data to support planning, service delivery and decision‑making.

This role includes providing GIS advice and support to internal users, maintaining spatial data standards, liaising with external agencies and consultants, and contributing to continuous improvement of GIS systems and tools.

The incumbent will have strong experience working with GIS systems and spatial data, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and communicate technical information clearly. Experience working in a local government environment is highly regarded. A relevant tertiary qualification in a GIS or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience, is preferred.
