Maintenance Officer
Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Maintenance Worker to work within our Infrastructure Team, servicing the Benalla municipality to maintain Council’s assets.
The position is responsible for the delivery of services directed by the Coordinator Works to maintain road infrastructure assets, including footpaths, kerb and channel, drainage, sealed and unsealed roads.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of appropriate OH&S and work practices and procedures
- Willingness to work towards continuous improvement and undertake training
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the operation of small plant and power tools
- Current driver’s license
Desirable Skills & Licenses
- Medium/heavy ridged truck license
- Competency for backhoe, front-end loader and skid steer
- Traffic Controller and worksite traffic management skills
- Experience with concreting and asphalting
- Construction Induction / White Card.
