Council at its meeting on Wednesday 30 April 2025 resolved that public notice be given that its proposed 2025/26 Budget and draft Benalla Rural City Council Revenue and Rating Plan 2025-2029 (Revenue and Rating Plan) be placed on public exhibition for a period of at least 28 days.

Copies of the proposed 2025/26 Budget and draft Revenue and Rating Plan can be downloaded from the Council’s website www.benalla.vic.gov.au
Copies of the documents can be inspected at the Customer Service Centre or at the Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre.
Submission process
Any person proposing to make a submission regarding the proposed 2025/26 Budget and draft Revenue and Rating Plan must do so in writing by 5pm Thursday 29 May 2025.

Budget information session
An information session on the proposed budget will be held from 5.30pm Tuesday 13 May 2025 at the Benalla Civic Centre 13 Mair Street, Benalla. The forum will provide an opportunity for the community to provide feedback and ask questions on the proposed 2025/26 Budget and draft Revenue and Rating Plan.
