Pet registration is a legal requirement in Victoria and helps us protect both pets and people in the community. It also funds important animal control services, including reuniting lost pets with their families.  All pet registrations are due on April 10 every year.

• How to Register: Filling in the above form online, or download and return and pay in person to 1 Bridge Street East or return by mail with a Send this application back to us with a cheque for the full amount made payable to Benalla Rural City Council, PO BOX 227, BENALLA VIC 3671
• Renewal: Registrations are an annual charge and must be renewed by 10 April each year.
• Why It’s Important: Registration ensures pets are easily identified and aids in managing local animal welfare.
