Quick Response Grants

Need swift support for your event or project? Quick Response Grants offer funding of up to $750 for eligible activities. Applications are reviewed monthly, so plan ahead to allow plenty of processing time.

Major Event Funding

Planning a significant event? Major Event Funding offers up to $2,000 annually to support eligible events.

Social Connection Grants (CLOSED FOR 2025)

Social Connection Grants of up to $1,500 are available to local community groups and organisations planning events or activities that promote connection and inclusion.

• Application Deadline: Monday, 18 August 2025.

Community Grants (CLOSED FOR 2025)

Both Major and Minor Community Grants are open once a year for a limited time frame.  Applications are assessed by an internal panel of three Council staff members. The panel’s recommendations are then tabled for approval at a Council Meeting.  

Community Grant Applications are open between 14 April and 1 June, 2025.

• Organisations may apply for both Major and Minor community grant but can only receive funding from one program during the funding period. 
• Organisations can only receive Major Community Grant Funding once every three years.
