Benalla Rural City Council offers immunisation clinics that are open to all members of the community.
Clinics
Council offers free immunisation clinics as part of the National Immunisation Program Schedule to protect our community against preventable diseases. Immunisations are by appointment only.
Clinic Schedule
- First Monday of each month (exceptions for public holidays).
- 10am–11.30am at Benalla Community Care, 45 Coster St, Benalla.
- 1pm–1.30pm at Waminda Neighbourhood House, 41 Ballintine St, Benalla.
How to Book
All immunisation session bookings for are by appointment only. To book an appointment for a scheduled immunisation session online, go to the Immunisation Portal, select ‘Book a Community Immunisation Appointment’ and follow the prompts.

Vaccination Information
Certain vaccines outside the National Schedule, such as Influenza and Hepatitis A & B, are free for eligible groups. Please check in advance for availability. Ensure you bring your Medicare card, vaccination record, and any required payment.

School Immunisation Program
The Council provides free annual immunisations to secondary school students, covering vaccines for chickenpox, HPV, diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis. For more information about immunisations, see the Victorian Department of Health’s information about the Immunisation Schedule.
