You can dispose of asbestos at the Benalla Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre. You need to apply to dispose of small quantities of domestic asbestos at the landfill. All asbestos that is disposed of at the Benalla Landfill needs to come from within the municipality.

Please note that we are not licensed to accept asbestos from commercial operators or sources. We can only accept asbestos waste from domestic sources within Benalla Rural City.
