Pet registration is a legal requirement in Victoria and helps us protect both pets and people in the community. It also funds important animal control services, including reuniting lost pets with their families. All pet registrations are due on April 10 every year.
How to Register: You can complete the form online through the customer portal, or download the form to return and pay in person at 1 Bridge Street East. Forms can also be returned by mail with a cheque for the full amount, made payable to Benalla Rural City Council, PO Box 227, Benalla VIC 3671.
Renewal: Registrations are an annual charge and must be renewed by 10 April each year.
