Proposed 2024/25 Budget

The Council at its meeting on Wednesday 1 May 2024 resolved that public notice be given that its proposed 2024/25 Budget be placed on public exhibition for a period of at least 28 days.

Copies of the proposed 2024/25 Budget can be downloaded from the Council's website

Copies of the documents can be inspected at the Customer Service Centre or at the Sir Edward ‘Weary' Dunlop Learning Centre.

Submission process

Any person proposing to make a submission regarding the proposed 2024/25 Budget must do so in writing by 5.30pm Thursday 30 May 2024.

Submissions can be made:

  • by post addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Benalla Rural City Council, PO Box 227, Benalla 3671.


Budget information session

An information session on the proposed budget will be held from 5.30pm Thursday 22 May 2024 at the Benalla Civic Centre 13 Mair Street, Benalla. The forum will provide an opportunity for the community to provide feedback and ask questions on the proposed 2024/25 Budget.
