Social Connections Grants

Social Connection Grants are a special initiative by Benalla Rural City Council’s Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG).

As the first undertaking of the SIAG program, this initiative aims to support local community groups to hold events and activities that create opportunities for connection and inclusion. We believe that enhancing social connections during the summer season can provide much-needed support and create positive experiences.

Expressions of interest are invited from community groups to stage an event, activity, or project to deliver one or more of the key objectives:

1.  Create opportunities for social connections and inclusion
2.  Improving mental health and resilience

The funded activity must be open to all community members.

Expressions of Interest close 28 February 2024 and initiatives must be delivered by 1 April 2024.

For more information contact the SIAG Coordinator on 03 5761 2256 or 0484 025 974.

The funding of the SIAG program and initiatives has been made possible through funding provided by the Victorian Government Department of Health.
