Why did you nominate for election to the Council?

My nomination to council is to once again be an active representative for the Benalla community, to champion local initiatives and represent people from all backgrounds and demographics. We live in a great part of Victoria, my commitment is to promote and support Benalla over the next 4 years.

What is your vision for Benalla?

My vision for Benalla is to continue to strive for community growth, increased job opportunities, increased tourism and to continue to promote Benalla as a destination to visit and to call home.

What local issues are you especially interested in?

I am committed to supporting our community on any matters relating to the Benalla electorate. I am eager to support our community (households, businesses and farming) groups through the challenges of COVID and to develop new initiatives to address future challenges.

What you would like Council to achieve in the next 4 years?

My goal in this term of council is to be a representative that people from all ages and backgrounds can call upon to represent them in all matters of Local Government. To champion causes that are important to them and to put Benalla in the best position for the next 4 years.

Your background - work experience, career, family, children, hobbies?

I am a born and bred Benalla local, I have had an extensive career in the unemployment and training sector and currently work for the Department of Education and Training. I am married with 2 children. To heart I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing and all things outdoors.
