Council's draft Procurement Policy has been released for public comment.
The Policy will provide guidance, consistency and control over procurement activities, demonstrate accountability to rate payers, ensure compliance with legislation, provide guidance on ethical behaviour in purchasing and ensure openness and transparency of the decision making process.
Hard copies of the policy are available from our Customer Service Centre, 1 Bridge Street East, Benalla or from the Sir Edward `Weary' Dunlop Learning Centre. The policy can also be downloaded from the 'Have Your Say' page on our website: www.benalla.vic.gov.au
Written feedback on the policy can be made until 5pm Thursday 21 October 2021.
