Benalla Youth Awards 2021

Benalla Rural City Council is encouraging community members to consider nominating a young person for the Benalla Rural City Youth Creating Change Awards.

Mayor Cr Danny Claridge said the Council acknowledged the achievements, successes and positive contributions young people make to the community.

‘There are many young people who help make Benalla Rural City a great place to live. If you know about the contribution of a young person, nominate them for the recognition they deserve,’ said Cr Claridge.

The awards highlight the achievements of young people aged 12 to 25 who live, study, work or participate in volunteer roles within Benalla Rural City.

Nominations are open in the following categories:

  • Sport and Recreation
  • Contribution to the Community
  • Music and Performing Arts
  • Visual Arts and Media
  • Employment Achievement
  • Academic Achievement
  • Advocacy and Action

This event is part of the Victorian Youth Week with funding from the Victorian Government. Nominations close 25 June 2021. Find out more and nominate a young person at benalla.vic.gov.au/2021-Benalla-YouthAwards
