CBD Roadworks

Access to Fawckner Drive car park 

Council roadworks in Fawckner Drive are progressing and are on schedule for completion on the Friday 8 April 2022.

Access to the library carpark is currently closed until the completion of works.

However, the library will remain open to patrons during this time.

The Fawckner Drive carpark will remain open during the works, with access via the road on the west side of the library from Thursday 31 March until the completion of works.

While the roadworks are underway, library staff can assist patrons with accessibility and mobility requirements with call and collect deliveries.

We apologise for any inconvenience and acknowledge the improved safety and efficiency that the road upgrades will bring.

Access to Denny Street carpark

Road asphalt resurfacing works commenced in the Denny Street carpark on Sunday 27 March.

While works are underway, there is no access to the western side of the carpark, which will be closed to vehicle access until Thursday 31 March 2022.

Alternative parking is available on the eastern side of the Denny Steet carpark during this time.
