Street planting update

Council has recently commenced their street tree planting program, planting 71 trees.

Council manages the planting, protection, maintenance, and removal of trees on public land. We manage approximately 9,375 street trees, and undertake tree removal, footpath and roadside vegetation clearance, replanting, watering and tree root management.

Tree maintenance is undertaken by a team of staff, a qualified arborist and various contractors.
