Wallace Binnie - Thoona Achiever of the Year

Wallace has been a resident farmer in the Thoona and Bungeet area for most of his life and runs a successful Pol Dorset Stud. Wallace has been a member of the Australian Poll Dorset Association for 52 years and is an accredited National Judge.

Wallace has been very generous in giving his time to various community causes over many years and has been associated with the Thoona School Council, is a life member of the Thoona Fire Brigade, a member of the Thoona Cemetery Trust, the Thoona Scot’s Presbyterian Church and was involved in the commencement of the Thoona Water scheme in 1982.

Wallace is recognised for his dedication and commitment to the Thoona and district community over many years.
